Cookie Policy
TMF Reviews currently uses session mechanisms and local browser storage required for operation of the platform and certain widgets.
1. Session cookie
The application uses a Laravel session cookie required for authentication, security and navigation context.
The session lifetime is currently configured to 120 minutes of inactivity, subject to the application’s technical session and security mechanisms.
2. Widget session storage
Certain TMF Reviews widgets use browser sessionStorage to remember, during the browsing session, that a visitor chose to close a widget.
This information remains local to the browser and is not used to build an advertising profile.
3. No current marketing trackers
As of the date of this policy, the audited public TMF Reviews code does not integrate Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Matomo, Plausible or a comparable marketing tracking tool.
4. Third-party cookies
When a user is redirected to an external provider, for example Stripe or PayPal for payment, that provider may use its own cookies or technologies under its own policy.
5. Consent
The mechanisms currently used directly by TMF Reviews are intended for technical operation of the service.
If non-essential cookies or trackers are added in the future, TMF Reviews will update this policy and implement a consent mechanism where required by applicable rules.
6. Browser controls
Browsers allow users to remove or block certain cookies and storage. Blocking strictly necessary elements may prevent some features from working correctly.
